Connection instructions for Windows 95/98

1) Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Then double click the “Dial-Up networking" icon

2) Double click on "Make New Connection" and a dialogue box should appear asking you to type a name for the computer you are dialling. We suggest you call this My new 0845 connection.

3) Click on next and you need to enter the 0808 phone number on the reverse of the card.

4) A new icon called My new 0845 connection should appear in the dial-up networking folder.

5) Now double click this new icon and input the username and password

6) Once you have finished this press connect and your computer will dial up to the Internet connection.

7) Now start your web browser and begin to surf the web.

Connection instructions for Windows ME (Millennium Edition)

1) Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Dial-Up Networking.

2) If this is the first time you have used Dial-Up Networking, the Welcome to Dial-Up Networking wizard is initiated. If the wizard does not start, double-click Make New Connection and follow the instructions for creating a Dial-Up Networking connection.

3) When the connection is created, an icon is displayed in the Dial-Up Networking folder that you can double-click to connect to the Internet.

4) Double-click the Dial-Up Networking icon you created in the preceeding section.

5) In the Connect To dialog box, type your user name and password, and then click Connect.

6) Now you may start your browser and surf the web.

Connection instructions for Windows XP

 1) Open the Start menu then go to: All Programs/ Accessories/ Communications/ New Connection Wizard. 

 2) You will see, at the top, text that reads “Welcome to the Internet Connection Wizard” At this screen you must now click the “Next” button. 

 3) On the next screen select the “Connect to the Internet” option and click Next to continue.

 4) You will then see a Getting Ready screen. Select “Set-up my connection manually” and click Next.

 5) The next screen is the Internet Connection screen; select “Connect using a dial-up modem” and click Next to continue. 

 6) On Connection Name screen, type “My new 0845 connection” in the blank box as the name of your ISP and click Next.

 7) On Phone Number to Dial screen, enter the required Internet access number (0845…) and click Next to continue. (make sure there are no spaces in the number!)

 8) The next screen is the Internet Account Information screen. Enter your “username” and “password”. Once complete, click Next. 

 9) At the last screen click on “Finish” to complete the process and now you have a new Network Connection called My new 0845 connection.

 10) To start a connection, just double click on My new 0845 connection connection.
